It is Midwest School of Massage’s goal to help each student reach their full potential and pursue their dreams of becoming a massage professional. Below is a list of financial obligations and options for a student’s educational experience.

TOTAL TUITION COSTS

Tuition (Includes books/notes, massage table, MBLEX exam fee, and clinic uniforms) – $8,500

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment Option #1 – Pay $8,500 In Full

Payment Option #2 – Partner Bank Financing

The Midwest School of Massage has teamed up with Meritize to offer our students a unique financing option. Meritize works with students, educators, and employers to help people excel in skills-based careers. Meritize knows you are more than your credit score, and that is why they look at your past achievements to potentially enhance your loan options.

A few reasons why Meritize is a great option for students include:

Flexible payment options, including deferring full principal and interest payments until 3 months after you complete your training
Customer support available 5 days a week
0.25% interest rate deduction once you begin full repayment on your loan, if you sign up for autopay

Checking your loan options with Meritize has never been easier. You can fill out a short application to check your loan options without impacting your credit score. If loan options are available to you, Meritize will request your merit information to finalize your application. This could be in the form of:
• Academic Experience (Official or unofficial transcript or HSE certification)
• Military Experience (DD214)

Option #3 – Midwest School of Massage Direct Financing

$1,500 Down Payment

8 monthly payments of $875

0% Interest

We will do any monthly payment options directly to the school with a minimum down payment of $1,500 and split the remaining 8 monthly payments equally. But getting behind by 2 months could be grounds for expulsion and everything must be paid in full before a diploma is issued.

Option #4 – Local Clinic Work/ Study Agreements

The school has partnered with 5 local massage clinics in Omaha that will pay for roughly 50% ($4,250) of a students tuition in exchange for an agreement to go to work for them after the student graduates and gets their license. The student has to pay an average of $250 a month directly to the school for 17 months and the clinic pays for the remainder. This option does require a seperate job interview with the clinic before they decide to sponsor the student. Inquire with us for more details.

PAYMENT POLICY

When utilizing payment options 2 or 3, payments are due the first class day of each month. If late, after 5 days a $20.00 late charge is applied, and will accrue every 5 days thereafter. Nonpayment of tuition in excess of 2 months will be grounds for dismissal from the program. No student will be awarded a diploma or transcripts until ALL tuition and fees have been paid in full.

FINANCIAL AID

It is Midwest School of Massage’s goal to help each student reach their full potential and pursue their dreams of becoming a massage professional. Although we do not offer financial aid, many of our students obtain loans from private lending institutions, family members or employers through tuition reimbursement programs.

REFUNDABLE FEES

Any student that withdraws from the program or is not accepted will receive a FULL REFUND of all the monies paid IF:

He/She withdraws anytime before start of class.
He/She withdraws within the 3-day period following start of class.

Any Student that withdraws from the program or is dismissed after the 3rd day of class will be refunded according to the following policy:

After 2 Weeks – 60%
After 4 Weeks – 40%
After 6 Weeks – 20%
After 8 weeks – 0%

*Books are issued at orientation. They become the property of the student at that time, and any refunds on them shall be at the discretion of the school.

**Prices may vary by model/brand. Each student is required to purchase 2 sets of twin sized bed linens and 2 sets of bath/hand towels.
